This is a long list… babies are small, yet they need SO. MANY. THINGS. It can be overwhelming. Just remember you don’t have to get everything right away, baby showers are incredibly helpful, and somehow you will figure it out… that is just how this kind of thing goes :)
Someone told me while pregnant that when raising a child, the days are long but the years are short. I share these items because many of these items truly did help me get through those long days just a little bit more easily :)
Baby categories below are in alphabetical order
Apparel – necessities
Sizing help: Figuring this out is difficult before the baby comes because you just simply don’t know birth weight and how fast your baby will gain weight over their first year of life. Sizes are all based on weight. When choosing baby clothes after baby comes, ignore the month guidelines, and just look at the weight range. Before baby, all you can do is guess, therefore the month guidelines are helpful!
For the basics, you’ll need one pack of onesies for 0-3mo, one for 3-6mo, one for 6-9mo and one for 9-12 mo. Choose short sleeve or long sleeve for each pack depending on the season it will be when your baby is that size. For our first daughter, we additionally ended up needing premie onesies– I ordered on Amazon in the hospital easily. All you can do is make your best guess on size (and season/weather) before baby comes! Here is a little chart I made for myself that might help you too –> (link coming)
General baby clothing tips:
- In the first 3 months, register for more PJs than cute outfits.
- In general, you need more pjs (“sleep and play” pjs are often what they call footed pjs — these are the best) than outfits. If you are registering, register for a bunch of pjs for each size set. Or register for a pack of pjs for each size set.
- PJs with ALL snaps are the worst. They take so much longer to open and close a million times a day while changing diapers. Especially when you are tired, it never fails, you’ll get a snap off track and have to start completely over. Help yourself out and get zip pjs only.
- When registering for or purchasing baby outfits, get ones that include a onesie or an outfit that is all one piece. Two piece outfits (like a shirt and pants) just don’t work. You are holding them all the time the first year (especially the first 6 months) and the shirt never stays down or tucked in even if you try.
- You need wiggle proof socks. I have linked some of our favs below. Don’t waste your $$ with any other kind. You’ll be like my husband going up and down the aisles of target looking for the “4 month sock” (I have socks that say each month on the bottom… they are not wiggle proof and wiggled off. He found the sock, just in case you were worried!)
Onesies – Burt’s Bees – long sleeve
Great quality, they hold up in the wash very well. We used these as both something to wear at home during the day as well as for sleeping at night sometimes. Organic cotton is a bonus. Used these in the COLD months. (Also color-wise, white obviously works for either gender which is great for future children!)
(Amazon)
Onesies – Burt’s Bees – short sleeve
Great quality, they hold up in the wash very well. We used these as both something to wear at home during the day as well as for sleeping at night. Organic cotton is a bonus. Used these in the WARM months. (White are great, but I recommend getting colors too bc the baby wears these a TON at home, on just normal days, so it’s more fun to have a pretty pattern!)
(Amazon)
Onesies – Burt’s Bees – extra unisex pack
Great quality, they hold up in the wash very well. We used these as both something to wear at home during the day as well as for sleeping at night. Organic cotton is a bonus. Used these in the WARM months. (You always need extra onesies, so whenever I got an additional pack, I tried to pick a color set that was unisex for future children! If you aren’t a planner, you may think this is crazy, but if you are a planner, you’ll love this!)
(Amazon)
Pants – Burt’s Bees
Great quality, they hold up in the wash very well. We used these as both something to wear at home during the day as well as for sleeping at night. Organic cotton is a bonus. Used these in BOTH cold and warm months.
(Amazon)
Pants – Carter’s
You need a lot of pants… because especially for under 6 mo old, babies end up “ruining” many pants… and “ruining” onesies for that matter. These wash great and can withstand lots of stain remover. Plus getting a pack of multiple colored pants helps you make outfits quickly with onesies!
(Amazon)
Closet Dividers
If you don’t want to check tags again and again and again… get these! Organize their baby closet so you know when to wash the next set of clothing for the next size up.
(Amazon)
(I chose to wash as I went instead of washing everything before baby came! I’m glad I did bc when things were the wrong size for the wrong season, I was able to save for the next baby or give to friends to use)
Puracy Stain Remover
We tried SO many stain removers and this one is our favorite. It works the first time. You need this for clothes, bedding, burp cloths, literally everything. Especially at the beginning when “blowouts” are a thing…
(Amazon)
[FYI this is usually $8 or $9 a bottle. When quantity is low on Amazon price goes way up. Just wait it out if you see one bottle is like $20. Also make sure you are buying the bottle and not the refill pack. The refill is around $20.]
Puracy Stain Remover – Refill
Don’t buy the bottles again and again– just get this refill pack. I have this on “subscribe & save” on Amazon.
(Amazon)
Bathing & Skincare
Shampoo & Body Wash – The Honest Company
We use this when giving her a bath at night — calming lavender :) Plus no bad chemicals are in it.
(Amazon)
Bubble Bath – The Honest Company
Bubbles are amazinggg when you are a baby and very entertaining as a toddler too!
(Amazon)
Baby Bath Support
My husband calls this the baby colander lol. This is ESSENTIAL. MUST-HAVE. We used this from the day our baby came home from the hospital and we were still using it at 8 months old since she is small.
(Amazon)
Bath Book
This is probably our daughter’s favorite bath toy! She wasn’t interested until about 4 months old or so, but has loved it since! Great to distract while you’re trying to clean baby!
(Amazon)
Bath Kneeler
Another MUST HAVE. Your knees will die without this, 100% worth it.
(Amazon)
Bath Arm Rest
Again, MUST HAVE. Goes with the kneeler… 100% worth it.
(Amazon)
Cleansing Water – Mustela
Magic in a bottle!!! My daughter had baby acne around 1 month old (very common so I learned!). She started rubbing her face and we could tell it probably itched/was uncomfortable even though the doctor assured us it would go away quickly. THANK GOODNESS we tried this! Cleared up her face in 2 days. AMAZING! And way cheaper than prescription the doctor was recommending! I still use this on her when she has weird skin irritations from time to time. I even have used it myself!
(Amazon)
Skip Hop Moby Bath Spout Cover Super cute and prevents her hitting her head on the faucet — especially as she became very active in the bath!
(Amazon)
Baby Face Lotion – Mustela
We tried many brands… don’t waste your $$, just buy this one and be done with it. Works AMAZINGLY well, and our daughter had very sensitive skin.
(Amazon)
Boon Baby Bath Mat
This mat is great for anti-slip purposes but what we LOVE is that it hangs on the shower head so it dries nicely and doesn’t mold.
(Amazon)
Bedding
Waterproof Baby Mattress Pad – Newton
We almost bought the actual mattress from this brand, but we decided to just go with the mattress pad– cheaper with the same goal fulfilled. (Goal fulfilled: It reduces the risk of suffocation which obviously provides peace of mind.) Plus it is machine washable — woohoo! We bought 2 for middle-of-the-night-sheet-changing purposes.
(Amazon)
Baby Crib Mattress
We ended up with this mattress for both of our kids instead of the Newton one and it has been great! We covered it with the Newton Mattress Pad.
(Amazon)
Books
Moms On Call: 0-6 Months
Out of all the books I read, this one is 100% worth it. When everyone tells you “there isn’t an instruction manual for babies” — there actually is, and it is this one in my opinion! It is a fast read, written by two pediatric nurses. Think of it like the CliffsNotes of baby stuff. I LOVE how logical the advice is. Very helpful information. Especially the SWADDLE technique and the sound machine! Lifechanging! We don’t follow every single thing in it, use your own discretion, but most of it is SUPER helpful! [Also their swaddle is really expensive… we bought this swaddle and it was perfectly large enough, the correct fabric, etc.)
(Paperback: Amazon)
(Kindle: Amazon)
Note: We loved the Moms On Call information so much, we bought their online video course too. My husband actually watched them with me too!! Their website is great as well and has helpful info & free resources.
Car & Travel
Car Seat – UPPAbaby
I ALMOST bought the Nuna… but decided on this because 1) We were getting the UPPAbaby stroller (see below) and although they have attachment parts to make other brand carseats work, I liked the ease of all the same brand. 2) This is an extremely safe carseat– can’t possibly list all reasons why here, but I researched this to death haha. 3) It buckles in the car without a base if needed. This saved the day while traveling with an infant!
(Amazon)
Car Seat Rain Shield – UPPAbaby
We used this mostly on walks… which we try to do 3 times a week or so :)
(Amazon)
Trunk Organizer & Diaper Changing Station – Munchkin Brica
You alwayssss need backup. This trunk organizer allows you to keep extra clothes, diapers, wipes, etc in the car, just incase. You also can change a diaper in the trunk super fast (I have an SUV) which is very nice flat surface.
(Amazon)
Carseat BASE – Uppababy Mesa
My husband and I both have one of these in each of our cars which makes it SO easy to click the carseat in fast no matter whose car we are going in! We debated whether or not to each get one, and we are SO glad we did! We are all about things that simplify life!
(Amazon)
Car Seat Protector – Munchkin Brica
Catches all the crumbs, prevents carseat indent marks in our seats, and helps the seat stay in place. You’ll use it through all the carseat years!
(Amazon)
Car Mirror- Munchkin Brica
Matches the seat protector if you care about matching like I do :) Both my husband and I have one in our car.
(Amazon)
Backpack Padded Car Seat Travel Bag – J.L. Childress
We used this to carry the UPPAbaby Mesa Car Seat through the airport multiple times. We purposely bought this one so that it would work with any and all car seats we need to bring in the future as kids grow.
(Amazon)
Travel Drying Rack – Boon
A MUST HAVE when traveling with baby! This is so easy to pack and use.
(Amazon)
To-go Baby Safe Dish Soap
You don’t want to bring a huge thing of dish soap on vacation… this one is perfect! And refillable with any soap you want in the future!
(Amazon)
Breast Pump Part Quick Clean Wipes – Medela
These are hygienic and do the job when you don’t have a sink/dish soap/brushes/etc while traveling. I think they are too expensive to use everyday, but when traveling, they are 100% worth it.
(Amazon)
Car Headrest Mount
This was a lifesaver traveling in the car when our daughter was around 18 months old. I downloaded Sesame Street episodes to my iPad and she was perfectly entertained!
(Amazon)
Car Window Shades
We put two in my car’s back seat and two in my husband’s car back seat. Works great!
(Amazon)
Diapering
Diaper Pale – Ubbi
I did a bunch of research on this too… we love it! Plus there are LOTS of color options and it adds nice color to the baby room :)
(Amazon)
Plastic Bags – Ubbi
One of the benefits of the Ubbi diaper pale is that you can use any bag, not special bags. We received these bags as a gift and truly will be repurchasing (one box lasted almost 2 years) because they are thicker and therefore strong… able to handle all the weight of the diapers.
(Amazon)
Diaper Rash Cream – The Honest Company
We tried a few brands… this one is our fav. I have a theory that when we use diaper cream on her at night before bed, she stays asleep longer haha.
(Amazon)
Baby Bum Brush
I thought this was stupid and unnecessary… until I used it. Now I can’t imagine not having it. PSA: Diaper Cream stays on your hands and does not wash off easily… which is kind of the point of diaper cream if you think about it :) So save yourself time, get this to help you out. It is faster too.
(Amazon)
Wipe Dispenser – Ubbi
Another thing I thought we didn’t need. I LOVE this thing! PSA: Normal wipe packs are very hard to open and pull a single wipe with ONE HAND… this thing is weighted so you can easily flip it open and pull a single wipe out. And allll the wipes stay moist, no drying out!
(Amazon)
Waterproof Changing Pad Liner – Munchkin
We got this post-baby out of need! They catch all the accidents that you can imagine happen on a changing table… helps you to not change the changing pad sheet a million times.
(Amazon)
Diaper Bag & On-the-Go
Diaper bag – Skip Hop
We have LOVED this bag. The backpack elements helps you be hands-free, the side pockets are so helpful for quickly putting things down/storing things/sticking your phone/the bow that your daughter pulled off her head/the half-gone bottle/etc. The front pocket holds a few of my things plus small items like hand sanitizer, gas drops for baby, etc. The inside has pockets for small items that would otherwise fall to the bottom (like wipe packs, trash bag dispenser, etc.). The top flap on the bag is nice to quickly get in and out (we hardly ever use the clip to close it, the draw string keeps things in).
(Amazon)
Diaper Trash Bag Dispenser – Munchkin Arm and Hammer
We keep these in the diaper bag and they are awesome! Sometimes you are in a place with nowhere to put a dirty diaper… these save the day and smell like baby powder which is helpful. We have also put soiled clothing in one of these to get the clothes home with no mess.
(Amazon)
Pacifier Wipes – Munchkin Arm & Hammer
Pacifiers & toys inevitably fall on the ground need this. Diaper wipes don’t necessarily do the same thing for reference :) Google it!
(Amazon)
Pacifier & Toy Clips
We have tried many brands of these– this brand is the best! You can clip & unclip with one hand and they work & don’t slip. Even when your baby starts to be able to PULL on these clips.
(Amazon)
Portable Changing Mat – Skip Hop
WE LOVE THIS THING! You can just grab this out of the diaper bag and go to the bathroom with the baby to change a diaper instead of bringing the whole big bag. It holds diapers, wipes, extra clothes, etc and the mat is build in. I can open in close with one hand after a little practice.
(Amazon)
Pacifier Pocket – Skip Hop
I keep this on the outside of our diaper bag and it is SO nice to have fast access to pacifiers. They are NEVER where they should be. This little pocket solves that problem. (Also has an antimicrobial-protected lining, FYI)
(Amazon)
Wet Dry Bag – Skip Hop
You will need this for destroyed clothes! We had a baby with reflux issues… so many outfit changes!
(Amazon)
Shopping Cart & High Chair Cover – Skip Hop
We started using this when our daughter was 6 months old or so. SO nice to not have to wipe down every seat you want to put her in. Especially in the shopping cart, never fails, she puts her mouth on the handle… like all babies this age. We keep this in the diaper bag– it rolls up into a little ball-in-a-bag… look at pictures lol.
(Amazon)
Diaper Bag Organizer Pouches
These are kind of expensive… but WORTH IT if you care about organization like me :) It is so nice to just grab the color bag you need quickly… no digging around. Now that our daughter is older, she knows the yellow bag has snacks and will pull it out and hand it to us doing the sign language motion for hungry haha!
(Amazon)
Feeding
High Chair – 4moms
We are SO happy with this purchase! SUPER easy to clean, you can take the trey off with ONE HAND, and the little part between the baby’s legs is on the seat part, not the trey part– this is a big deal because when you set the trey down on the table (aka the very first thing you do when you take the trey off), it sits flat on the table instead of tilted where the food slides/falls off. The trey is also MAGNETIC and you can use the 4moms magnetic bowls and utensils!
(Amazon)
Magnetic Plate, Bowls and Utensils Feeding Set – 4moms
For use with the 4moms high chair — these are awesome and dishwasher safe.
(Amazon)
The Kiinde System
We LOVE this! I often pump right into these bags (pump attachment parts included), feed her with these bottles & nipples, and now we make baby food and use the spoon attachment & “snack spout” attachment. Buy this “gift bundle” and you get the whole thing. I recommend getting extra bags and slow flow nipples.
(Amazon)
Kiinde Twist Pouch Breast Milk Storage Bag
I pump into these, refrigerate & freeze milk and baby food in these, etc. THESE ARE THE BEST! They don’t leak, they are disposable, they are cheap (always a sale on Amazon) and help you have less bottle watching!
(Amazon)
Burp Cloths – aden + anais
We used the heck out of these. They are perfectly shaped to fit over your shoulder plus they have a little snap you can use to make it into a bib. Very absorbent and doesn’t slip off your shoulder as easily as a normal diaper cloth. (Amazon)
Burp Cloths – Burt’s Bees
These are so soft and wonderful! Since these are nicer, we use them as the diaper bag burp cloths aka when we are in public. It doesn’t really matter of course, I’m just sharing what we do :)
(Amazon)
First Feeding Spoons – Nuby
These are not the exact ones we have (I think ours are the older version) but we liked this brand!
(Amazon)
Food MINI Mat – ezpz
I saw this on Shark Tank originally. It’s an all-in-one placemat and contains the mess of food without being able to tip over! This mini-sized one fits on the 4moms high chair trey. The bigger ezpz one does not fit on the 4moms high chair trey according to reviews :)
(Amazon)
Bibs – Bumpkins
All bibs are not created equal. Save yourself, save your baby’s clothes, save your laundry-stain-removing efforts and just buy these… these cover the baby’s shoulders (yes, this is a BIG need), they are so easy to rinse off, they fold up small in a diaper bag, they have a pocket to catch food, and they aren’t stiff which means the high-chair table doesn’t push the hard plastic UP into the baby’s neck… plus there are a BUNCH of cute patterns!
(Amazon)
ChooMee SnakPack Reusable Baby Food Pouch
We love these! We mostly use them for applesauce and smoothies but it is an easy and clean way to give her snacks! They also go in the dishwasher and the seal is really great!
(Amazon)
ChooMee SoftSip Food Pouch Tops
These are a MUST have. As we started buying food pouches from the grocery (maybe around 5 months or so) we put these on top. Initial need was to protect her gums (the tops of food pouches are hard plastic and caused her to bleed a few times). Then as she got older she wanted to SQUEEZE the pouch… without these tops it goes everywhere. With these tops it is no big deal! The carry case is great for the diaper bag as well.
(Amazon)
Munchkin Miracle 360 Trainer Cup
The doctor recommended this cup and we love it!! It doesn’t spill and is easy to wash! Teaches them to “sip” a real cup and not always suck a sippy cup.
(Amazon)
ChooMee FlexiDip Baby Spoon
This was great when she was first learning to eat on her own. It would grab the baby food or applesauce well so when she got it to her mouth there was actually something for her to eat!
(Amazon)
Munchkin Bristle Bottle Brush
I think you can’t really go wrong with a bottle cleaning brush, but this is the one we got and we like it! The tiny brush screws into the bottom of the big brush, FYI. And the tiny brush is rubber which is great for cleaning the millions of tiny parts you’ll have!
(Amazon)
Furniture
Coming soon!
Gear – Big & Small
Baby Swing – 4 moms
THIS… we may have not gotten through the newborn days without this thing… amazing! 5 motions with multiple speeds, has noise, all controlled by phone or on the swing itself. The “lean” of it is also adjustable. SO NICE! Soothed our daughter when she was fussy… amazing! We still put her in it at 8 months old, just not as frequently.
(Amazon)
Baby Swing 4moms Newborn Insert
I HIGHLY debated whether or not to get this and I’m SO GLAD we did… our daughter was tiny and she would have not been supported enough if we did not have this! She used it until about 5 months old and then we removed it. Very happy we had it!!
(Amazon)
Stroller – Uppababy Vista
One of the hardest decisions we made, but one of the BEST decisions we made! There are SO many strollers out there! This is the only one we have ever used and we LOVE it. The Mesa Carseat clicks right into the stroller. Then the toddler seat and bassinet also come with the stroller frame. The bassinet is approved for sleeping, so we actually used it in our room from the day we brought our daughter home from the hospital until she was 2 months old (then we transitioned her to her crib in her room). We now use the toddler seat instead of clicking in the Mesa carseat, and it works GREAT! Smart design, smooth ride, HUGE basket underneath the stroller! It is great! We have used it at the mall, through the airport, on walks, etc.
(Amazon)
WubbaNub Pacifier
This is one of those products you wish you had thought of… the animal helps keep the paci in the baby’s mouth when they are too little to hold it on their own. We have 3 of these — Giraffe, sheep and pink duck :)
(Amazon)
Orthodontic Pacifiers Newborn/0-2 months – Smilo
Developed by a Pediatric Dentist to prevent lots of issues down the line :) Yay!
(Amazon)
Orthodontic Pacifiers 0-3 months – Smilo
Developed by a Pediatric Dentist to prevent lots of issues down the line :) You need a different size because baby’s mouth is a different size as they grow! Makes sense :)
(Amazon)
Orthodontic Pacifiers 3-9 months – Smilo
Developed by a Pediatric Dentist to prevent lots of issues down the line :) You need a different size because baby’s mouth is a different size as they grow! Makes sense :)
(Amazon)
Orthodontic Pacifiers 9+ months – Smilo
Developed by a Pediatric Dentist to prevent lots of issues down the line :) You need a different size because baby’s mouth is a different size as they grow! Makes sense :)
(Amazon)
Pacifier Disinfecting Box – Smilo
You just stick the paci in the little box with water and microwave it — works great!
(Amazon)
Seat – Bumbo
You probably aren’t supposed to use this on the kitchen counter, but we may or may not do this, and it is amazing! We didn’t buy a high chair until our daughter was 6 months old, so we used this at 4 months when she began eating rice cereal. WORKED GREAT! We still use it all the time when we need a place to put her!
(Amazon)
Door Jumper
We keep this in our bathroom so the baby has something to do while we get ready :) Lifesaver!
(Amazon)
Baby carrier – Lillebaby
I researched the heck out of this one… I mean the opinions out there when you Google “best baby carrier”… craziness! All I was looking for was something that would hold up, was breathable for the Georgia summer heat, and wouldn’t hurt my back. Our daughter loves riding in this!
(Amazon)
To-go Feeding Seat
We started bringing this when our daughter was 6 months or so– it is nice to have a little eating trey and place to set them besides your lap.
(Amazon)
Uppababy Vista Parent Organizer
This slips over the handle of the stroller and is GERAT! We just leave it on the stroller at all times. It holds our phones, water bottles, keys, whatever. It doesn’t have good ratings on Amazon, but I’m not sure why? We love it!!
(Amazon) – can’t find link, I will check back!
Ryan and Rose Cutie PAT Pacifier — Stage 2
We used this once she had teeth — she used it more for teething rather than like a true pacifier (she sucks her thumb), but it was still great!
(Amazon)
Health & Baby Care
NailFrida
Clipping a baby’s nails & toes is one of the HARDEST tasks in the world. The finger & toenails are SO TINY and plus they are wiggling… this makes it slightly easier to handle.
(Amazon)
Medicine Pacifier – MediFrida
Whoever invented this is an absolute genius. This works INCREDIBLY well and our daughter loves the paci part alone as well. This is an absolute necessity in my opinion!
(Amazon)
Little Remedies Medicine
This is the “infant essentials pack” — great start! We use all three of these, especially the GAS DROPS!
(Amazon)
Gas Drops – Little Remedies
We tried a bunch of different brands… this is the best one!! I have this on auto-ship each month from Amazon– we use these ALL the time!
(Amazon)
DermaFrita
Our daughter ended up getting a little bit of “cradle cap” on her scalp which essentially is built up oil in the hair glands… this little scrubber in the bath fixed it in a few days! We still use it for every bath! Works great!!
(Amazon)
Linens
Cotton Flannel Swaddle Blanket XL
ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE! Do not get other swaddles, especially made out of that muslin fabric… they are soft, but they don’t work one bit! You need one EXTRA big and made of cotton flannel specifically. Save yourself headaches, get this one! ESPECIALLY if you are using the “Moms On Call” technique! They teach you how to properly swaddle, how tight to pull, etc. Comes in lots of colors & patterns.
(Amazon)
Burp Cloths – Gerber
We have the fancy burp cloths, but we seem to grab these first every time. They just work! For spit up, burping, feeding, etc. 100% necessity! I personally use my “fancy/cute” ones when we are going out of the house, but these gerber burp cloths are all I use at home.
(Amazon)
Drool Bibs
We went through a serious drool phase with our daughter when she was first teething. We had a bib on her at all times! Normal bibs don’t work great– these are extra thick and absorb all the drool so we didn’t have to change her outfit so many times and she didn’t get rashes on her neck/chest from drool irritation! (Plus they are so cute!)
(Amazon)
Padded Baby Crib Rail Cover
When our daughter started teething she started trying to chew on the wood of the side of the crib — yikes! Some paint came off so we decided to put this rail cover on. Worked like a charm!
(Amazon)
Room
Sound Machine – Hatch Baby
One of the BEST items we got. If you read/use the strategies of the book Moms on Call, you need a sound machine, and this is a great one. You can turn it on with your phone which is AMAZING when feeding the baby and you can’t move. You can slowly dim the light on and off (via phone) when you are trying to see slightly but not wake up a newborn. When the baby is a toddler, you can schedule it to turn green to signal that it is okay/time to get out of bed. Just all around amazing. Get this!!
(Amazon)
Laundry Hamper
We chose this Delta Compact Hamper and it is the perfect size. We keep it right by the changing table so as we are changing diaper & outfit, we throw dirty clothes right in.
(Amazon)
Cool Mist Humidifier
I did a lot of research on this one… I wanted it to be quiet, large capacity, I didn’t want there to be a glowing light on it (this one you can turn it off), and I wanted to be able to put lavender essential oils in it sometimes. This one checks off all those things!
(Amazon)
Safety
Magnetic Baby Safety Locks for Cabinets & Drawers
We use these all over our entire kitchen and they are great! I like that you can’t see the locks from the outside & they’re basically command strips so easy install. We had to install these around her 1st birthday — without them our daughter would be constantly pulling everything out of the cabinets!
(Amazon)
Toys
Fisher-Price Baby’s First Blocks
This toy is an essential! Every baby loves these. We got this around 6 months old and she still plays with it! (She now carries the bucket like a purse and collects things in it haha)
(Amazon)
Sassy Stacks Stacking Rings
Big hit!
(Amazon)
Fisher-Price Rattle ‘n Rock Maracas
These were a huge hit from about 6-14 months!
(Amazon)
Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Smart Phone
This is a favorite toy of hers… still! She walks around moving her hands around in full baby-talk pretend-conversation. So cute!
(Amazon)
Skip Hop Foam Baby Play Mat
We used this in our living room because the grey blended with our rug nicely :) She played on this while learning to sit up, crawl, stand, etc. Prevented a lot of bumps/bruises.
(Amazon)
Extra/Just for Fun
Jack Rogers for Baby
I mean how absolutely adorable?! So unnecessary, but so sweet! We have sweet lilac-colored ones :)
(Amazon)
Clip Toddler Bows
As our daughter’s hair grew, we needed a way to keep her band out of her face. These actually stay put and they’re very cute!
(Amazon)
Keds T-Strap Sneakers
We have bought multiple pairs of these — so cute & go with everything!
(Amazon)
Clear Over The Door Hanging Organizer
I use this to organize all of Harper’s bows, in rainbow order of course ;)
